Virginia Tech Rugby prides itself in excellence on and off the field. Steeped in a rich tradition and history, Virginia Tech rugby players are proud to represent their school and the Hokie nation at the highest level of inter collegiate athletics. They are true student athletes in every sense of the word.
Virginia Tech plays rugby in both the fall and spring semesters. In the fall, they will compete in college Seven aside tournaments such as the Atlantic Coast Invitational and then play a series of hard 15 aside games towards the end of the fall semester in preparation for the spring league schedule. In the spring, Virginia Tech will then compete in the newly formed Atlantic Coast Rugby League with the Final 4 being held at the end of April.
We train on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights 8-10 pm on the Recreational Sports Fields
